Welcome to our April blog post! This month, we'll discuss fun holidays and some cool products to spice up your celebration.
On April 1st, we of course have April Fool's Day, but there's also a less-known holiday, International Fun at Work Day! This encourages companies and business partners to create a fun extra-curricular or team-building day for your company! This could help bring co-workers together and create a more understanding and trustworthy environment at work. Some fun April Fool's Day products would be our Fart bombs, bomb bags, party poppers, and Snaps on Steroids!
There's also National Beer Day, Celebrated on April 7th, This holiday commemorates the day in 1933 when the Cullen-Harrison Act went into effect, making it legal to purchase, sell, and consume beer and wine with an alcohol content of 3.2 percent. We also have a few products to go along with this holiday! We have our Mugs Up for the beer lovers in your life, and for the non-alcoholic people out there, we have our very special Pyro Cola. If you're looking to get the party started, we also have our massive Fountain Tailgate Party and 500g Cake Party Bus! For our hard alcohol enjoyers, we have Watermelon Moonshine and Whiskey Business.
Next, we have Easter on April 20th of this year, a great time to gather family and have some fun experiences. Some cool easter products we have are Garden in the Spring Fountain, our Ground Bloom Flowers, Large Camellia Flower, and our in-house Shock Wave branded cake Watermelon Sugar! Some fun Easter ideas would be to fill plastic Easter eggs with mini snaps (poppers) so kids get a surprise pop when they crack them open! Add a mix of treats, small prizes, and party poppers for extra fun. Host a fun "Peeps & Fireworks" event by roasting marshmallow Peeps over a firepit before enjoying some low-noise fireworks like spinners, fountains, and crackling strobes—perfect for families with younger kids. In Corfu, Greece, Easter morning is celebrated by throwing clay pots out of windows and onto the streets! This tradition symbolizes renewal and new beginnings, as well as welcoming spring and a fresh harvest. In Finland and Sweden, children dress up as Easter witches, wearing old clothes and headscarves while painting freckles on their faces. They go door to door offering blessings and drawings in exchange for candy—similar to Halloween trick-or-treating. In Norway, Easter isn’t just about eggs and bunnies—it’s about crime! Påskekrim, or "Easter Crime," is a tradition where people spend the holiday reading crime novels or watching detective shows. Even milk cartons in Norway feature short mystery stories during the Easter season. Did you know that in Australia, rabbits are considered pests, so instead of the Easter Bunny, they celebrate with the Easter Bilby, a native marsupial. Many chocolate companies in Australia make chocolate bilbies instead of bunnies to raise awareness for this endangered animal.
