Welcome to the May edition of the Fireworks Plus blog! As spring hits its stride and warmer days roll in, May is the perfect time to start gearing up for a season full of celebrations, outdoor gatherings, and, of course, fireworks! Whether you're preparing for Memorial Day or early summer events or just looking to add some sparkle to your weekend fun, this month is all about planning and making the most of the longer evenings. Getting into May, Spring is finally here, and it's time to celebrate like never before! Starting on May 1st is "May Day." This day is about the celebration of spring and renewal, often marked with maypole dancing, flower crowns like our King of Crowns, and community festivals. In some cultures, it's also a day to leave small flower baskets on neighbors' doors! Some great spring-related products would be. Our great selection of springtime fountains includes our Medium Snow Cone and Koi Pond. A couple of cakes would be our Banana Split and double scoop! Even our tiny assortment Ball of Fun! As we move into May, we have Cinco de Mayo on May 5th. This day is a festive celebration of Mexican heritage and culture. Known for colorful parades, mariachi music, traditional foods, and sometimes fireworks in larger cities.

Of course, next on the list, we have Mother's Day! A perfect time to get your mom a present or just a nice visit to hang out. Many families enjoy picnics, brunches, or even light fireworks or sparklers to celebrate. Just remember that Mother's Day is a special day to honor moms and maternal figures with gifts, family meals, or outdoor fun. There's also Memorial Day on the 26th! A day of remembrance for fallen U.S. military members; often marked with parades, flag ceremonies, and moments of silence. It also unofficially kicks off summer fun—perfect for cookouts, beach days, and evening fireworks. For our Service members with PTSD, we have a small selection of noiseless fountains!
